Arkham City is the fan-favorite, and I would agree that it is the best in the series when you take into account that it is an old-gen game. The gadgets in BAK are fucking incredible. Mostly the disabling gun. Disable the guns, disable the turret, disable the shock wand before dropping on his ass.Meanwhile batman arkham has you setup traps on walls, disarming guns or activate a shock when using said gun, fear takedowns, manipulating voices to direct bad guys. Origins and Knight kind of throws a wrench into some of them. The bio for Black Mask in Asylum and City states he has a burning hatred for Batman but I think he would be more pissed at Joker. Bane’s bio states he broke Batman’s back but it is kind of questionable in Origins. 5.Arkham Knight’s combat is incredibly slick, but Arkham City is honestly the perfect Batman video game. It’s got the best pacing for changing up the gameplay, the environment is the most interesting to explore, and the characterizations are all pitch-perfect. Knight is objectively the best one gameplay wise. Then Knight because, although Joker blood was doing crazy shit due to being infected with Titan, they did deliberately blame things on ‘Joker blood’ and I think only once did they mention it contained Titan.
